I am a cellist and teacher of cello and piano in Rotterdam. I have been studying music my whole life and have been a performer for more than ten years. I have played in professional orchestras, competed in professional competitions and studied in different conservatories on my different levels of education. I have the greatest passion in teaching. I have been taught by many different teachers from various styles and cultures. I’ve been learning from masters and now I want to show you what they have given me.

Whether you want to become a professional soloist or a great entertainer for your friends and an understander of music, we can have a plan together to bring you there. I will help you enjoy music with piano and cello playing trough the whole journey.

Cello Lessons

Cello is a wonderful instrument to play all kinds of different genres and styles of music. It’s versatility and the posibilities for fantastic sounds make it an immensely entertaining instrument to learn with the help of a teacher. Since verybody is different, especially in music education, we will discover the best ways to practice and learn new teqniques with the compositions we pick together. I will help you to find your own ways of improving while enjoying the amazing cello while playing the pieces you like.

  • I will show you the best technique for your physique and help you improve your skills on the instrument. I hope to make nice music with you and show you how much you can express through sound. I will also teach you how to read music scores and understand music theory. You will be able to play the cello and also to make music together with other people.

    If you already have a more advanced level, that is also great! We can work on perfecting your technique and finding inspiration. We can work on understanding the composers and what you want to express.

    I can also prepare you for conservatories. We can look at options and meet with teachers. We can decide on an impressive program for your auditions and I will help you to gain the skills to impress the professionals. We can even set goals, deadlines or concert dates according to your ambitions.

pıano Lessons

Piano is an essential part of any music education. It serves all kinds of different goals in music and in general education. I currently have piano students from the ages of five to eighty-five and every lesson is tailored specifically for their wishes and learning goals. Some enjoy giving concerts and some simply want to get to know the world of piano. All kinds of levels and wishes are welcome in my studio.

  • If you are a beginner in music, piano is a great instrument to start with. The straightforward logic of playing will help you to focus on the music you enjoy and it will give space for learning music as a beginner. With over thirty books for beginners and intermediate players available in my studio, we can surely find efficient and enjoyable ways to learn and make music.

    If you already have experience in music and piano, that is also great! We can work on perfecting your technique and finding inspiration. We can study different genres and styles together to discover new composers and compositions. I can provide great resources to improve your technique and musical abilities.

  • I have been tutoring students on Music Theory for many years. I have greaduated by completing extensive courses on classical music and I love sharing my ways of learning the theoretical aspect of music.

  • For anybody who aims to persue a future with music making and performing, ear training is an essential part of developing musical skills. As musicians we find our own ways and follow great teachers to keep our ears active and useful. I do ear training with people of all ages and all levels of music education. Amateurs, professional students and anyone that needs a coach are welcome.
